Checkatrade Abandoned Us in a Pinch
We were completely reliant on Checkatrade to source us a competent expert for our renovation project. We registered and posted our requirements, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.

- Adding insult to injury, their helpline was absolutely hopeless.
We are extremely disappointed with Checkatrade and would strongly advise using their website. There are more reliable alternatives out there. We regret having wasted our resources on this disappointing service.

We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.
My story with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I hired a trader through their website to complete some vital home repairs. They appeared reliable at first, but it ended up a terrible ordeal.
Although I sent the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Communication ceased. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.
Their customer service has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They laughed at my plight. It feels like I've been scammed.
